Siemens Magnetom Verio 3T high field MRI
The first of its kind in south india with 70cm open bore with TIM system.3T Magnetom Verio is considered at present to be the best MRI machine in clinical use across the world, known for its patient comfort and advanced capabilities.It is installed in a large number of world class medical institutes across the globe like John Hopkins Hospital USA, Cambridge University UK, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Singapore General Hospital.All the state of art protocols and hardware including susceptibility imaging, BOLD imaging, Advanced Spectroscopy, DTI MR perfusion, MR mamography, Native vascular imaging(Angiogram without contrast) are possible with this scanner.

SIEMENS MAGNETOM C!
Siemens“Magnetom C!”, ( a new open 0.35T )is currently the most compact C-shaped permanent magnet that meets routine clinical requirements for neurology, orthopedics, and
angiography, as well as pediatrics, oncology and cardiology. Magnetom C! provides excellent image quality and high diagnostic certainty in a cost-effective package.
With a diameter of only 137 centimeters, the magnet in the Magnetom C! is one of the most compact in its class. System advantages include high field technology and excellent image quality. In addition, the system is open on three sides. |

The side “entry” to the unit used for all examinations (except those for the head and neck) means the patient has a clear view in all directions. The patient table moves two-dimensionally, ensuring that the region of interest is always at the center of the magnet to obtain optimum image quality. The C-shaped design simplifies the examination both for patients and hospital staff. Optimal access and easy examinations are possible even for obese patients.
Innovative components (2D Pace, iPAT, Inline-Technology, syngo, Phoenix) have been integrated into the Magnetom C!, resulting in a mid-field system with high field technology. The system is easy to operate thanks to
syngo, the standardized software from Siemens. Protocol data can be exchanged using the integrated Phoenix function. Phoenix extracts sequence protocols from clinical images acquired on Magnetom systems. This, for example, increases reproducibility during follow-up examinations.
High field technology is also used in the Magnetom C! for coils and RF channels. The use of up to four channels enables faster examinations. As a result, the patient can be prepared for examination by up to four channels, which enables optimum anatomical coverage. This eliminates the need to reposition coils, reducing examination times and enabling more patients to be examined within the same period of time. This means that hospital workflows can be designed more efficiently.

,children and sick patients.
Being a multislice CT it can give the same high quality in
coronal ,sagittal and axial planes. Thus it is far superior to
single slice CT and can give better diagnosis .
Since the scan acquisition is multislice volume high quality
reconstructions can be made especially useful in facial and
cervical spine trauma, hip joint , bronchial tree evaluation and
CT angiographies .
Another advantage is significant radiation reduction due to
advanced technology behind it. Upto 50 percent reduction in
radiation is achieved .
Colour Doppler Ultra Sound
State of the art Colour Doppler machine ( GE Logiq P4 ) is available for routine high resolution grey scale imaging as also obstetric Doppler , Peripheral Doppler,Renal Doppler and Carotid Doppler studies. Various USG guided procedures are also routinely performed.
X’Ray
The X – ray unit is a high frequency machine ( 300MA ) delivering lowest possible radiation in the most optimum manner for efficient diagnosis. Plans are on the anvil to convert the present system to Computed Radiography ( CR ).
